With retrospective effect from 1 January German Pellets has taken over the Austrian Glechner group of companies. The takeover includes three Glechner production sites - in Pfarrkirchen (Germany) and the Austrian pellet plants in Mattighofen and in Oberweis/Gmunden - as well as the rights to the “ Hot’ts Holzpellets” pellet brand and Glechner’s direct-sales operation. Secrecy was agreed regarding the purchase price. The Glechner group will in future operate as an independent business within the German Pellets group and Gerhard and Bernhard Glechner remain as CEOs.
