Consolidated Label has added an HP Indigo 8000 digital press to its production line-up to keep up with increased demand for digitally printed custom labels.
This latest addition will enable the company to expand production capacity, reduce set-up costs, and improve turnaround time.
The HP Indigo 8000 press offers end-to-end label production at up to 262 feet per minute - more than double the speed of other narrow-web digital label presses. Its "HP ElectroInk" technology is the only digital color printing process that matches gravure printing, delivering high resolution printing, and perfect registration.
Brand color standards can also be easily met by using up to 7 ink stations and a color gamut that reaches up to 97% of PANTONE colors. Not only does the HP Indigo 8000 excel in color quality, accuracy, and repeatability, it can print a wide range of applications with easy and quick changeovers, such as pressure-sensitive labels and shrink sleeves.
