The first images of the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray convertible have been released a day before its world premiere at tomorrow’s Geneva motor show.
The debut of Chevrolet Corvette Stingray convertible follows the January unveiling of the C7 Stingray coupe at 2013 Detroit auto show, where the seventh-generation Corvette’s 335kW/610Nm 6.2-litre LT1 direct injection V8 engine and new seven-speed manual transmission with Active Rev Matching were shown.
While full details on the convertible will be released in the coming days, the roofless ‘Vette shouldn’t be far off achieving the new Corvette Stingray coupe’s 0-100km/h sprint time of under four seconds and improved fuel consumption figures.
Sitting alongside the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray convertible at the US brand’s show stand will be the Corvette Stingray coupe, the facelifted Captiva SUV, the Spark EV, and the Hot Wheels edition Chevy Camaro.
