Israel-based company's Xtend MAP products have reportedly extended shelf life and increased profitability of the international fruit, vegetable and herb growers, packers and traders, according to freshplaza.com.
StePac CTO Gary Ward said that using good sanitation and temperature control besides packaging in Xtend packaging can reduce considerably the natural production of ethylene, which reduces ripening, ageing and decay of the packed products.
The three shows include Fruit Attraction international trade show for the Fruit & Vegetable industry on 19-21 October 2012 in Madrid Spain, the Expo Agroalimentaria on 26-29 October 2012 in Guanajuato, Mexico and the annual gathering of fresh produce industry-Fresh Summit - PMA on 7-10 November 2012 in Anaheim, California, USA.
