Ford is planning to add 850 new jobs at its Ford Rouge Center in Michigan, US to support the production of its upcoming 2015 F-150.
The new jobs have been divided amongst three facilities which include 300 for Dearborn Stamping, 500 for Dearborn Truck and 50 for Dearborn Diversified, and the new addition will make the hourly employment in the facility to 5,000 workers.
Dearborn Truck Plant a part of Ford Rouge Center underwent manufacturing transformation to facilitate smooth production and Ford Rouge Factory is also undergoing renovation.
National Ford Department UAW vice president Jimmy Settles said: "Today we celebrate the commitment to excellence that the hardworking men and women of the Rouge demonstrate every day.
"The technology in the all-new 2015 F-150 is something the auto industry has never seen before, and our UAW members are poised and excited to build the next generation of America's favorite truck."
