According to statistics release by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Turkey imported 27,725 tons of stainless steel coils in October, rising by 9% from a month ago and increasing by 0.6% year on year.
In October, Taiwan was the largest stainless steel coil exporter to Turkey with 7,904 tons; South Korea was the second largest one with 2,828 tons and Germany was the third largest one with 2,522 tons.
In the first 10 months of this year, the country's imports of stainless steel coils amounted to 299,058 tons, increasing by 1.4% year on year.
