According to EUROFER, the steel export from EU 27 countries in last December was around 2.21 million tons, down by 8.39% from November and by 10.86% compared to December, 2011.
EUROFER also indicates that the export volume of steel flat products was about 1.3 million tons in December, sharply dropping by 10.47% from one month ago.
Moreover, the total steel export from EU 27 countries in 2012 was around 27.22 million tons, with roughly 16 million tons in the part of steel flat products. The total steel export in 2012 has increased by 4.15% from a year ago.
