CPI of The American Chemistry Council's 2012 End-Use Market Survey on The Polyurethanes

The Center for the Polyurethanes Industry (CPI) of the American Chemistry Council's 2012 End-Use Market Survey on the Polyurethanes Industry in the U.S., Canada and Mexico is now available to order.

This biennial survey of the industry, produced since 1998, provides a breakdown of polyurethane production by type and by major end-use market for each country over a two-year period. In addition, the survey presents historical data on product use, market drivers and issues that affected the industry on both a domestic and global scale. Historic trends are presented along with discussions of the market status in 2012.

"The information provided in the 2012 End-Use Survey provides valuable insight for professionals who work in polyurethanes," said Lee Salamone, senior director of CPI. "As the industry has continued to recover from the recession, the findings provide beneficial information on the industry's recent performance, as well as the issues and trends that drove the industry's growth.

The survey information was compiled by an independent third party, IAL Consultants. It includes more than 300 pages of information and analysis as well as 150 data tables, plus charts and graphs. Hanne Hirsimäki of IAL consultants will provide an overview of the results of the 2012 End-Use Market Survey during the Closing Session of the 2013 Polyurethanes Technical Conference on Wednesday, Sept. 25 in Phoenix.

The 2012 End-Use Market Survey is available in electronic copy only. Orders for the End-Use Survey can also be placed in-person at the 2013 Polyurethanes Technical Conference, which is taking place Sept. 23 to 25. Click here for a copy of the order form.

Featuring 15 technical sessions and 68 technical presentations, the conference provides leaders and professionals with an opportunity to learn about the latest innovations, technical developments and issues affecting the global polyurethanes industry. For more information, visit the CPI website.
