It’s reported that the Japanese steelmakers have increased the prices for non-oriented electrical sheets by US$100/ton averagely for June, mainly for exports to China. However, the price rise seems unfavorable to buyers.
The Japanese steelmaker said that they decided to raise the prices in order to avoid loss. In China, the major steelmakers have remained the prices for non-oriented electrical sheets unchanged for consecutive two months.
