Mello Lopes, the executive president of the Brazilian steel institute (IABr) said on November 4th that Brazil's steel output might rise in 2014, driven by the country's industry development plan and the innovation in automobile industry. At present, the global steel output is at around 600 million. IABr had ever cut its forecast for the country's steel output to 34.50 million tons in this June.
