It’s reported that India may face shortage of steel long products in the coming years since there is no steel long product project being developed during 2013 and 2014.
However, the country’s supply of steel flat products exceeded demands due to increased output.
JSW Steel indicated that India’s consumption of steel long products may exceed steel flat products, driven by several infrastructure projects in the country in the following 10 years.
