Huawei Technologies Has Expressed Disappointment to The Decision of Australian Government

Local media said that Huawei Technologies has expressed disappointment to the decision of Australian government to still forbid the Chinese telecom equipment supplier to participate in building national broadband network (NBN).

Huawei Technologies nearly doubled local revenue in Australia in 2012 to USD 368 million, hiking 61% from a year earlier. The company has gotten contracts from major telecom carriers in the nation, including that to build super speed 4G networks from Optus.

Huawei Australia chairman John Lord reiterated that the company is willing to submit technology and source codes to local intelligence agency for censorship. However, so far, local government has made no response.
