It's reported that Feng Hsin, one of the major steel long product makers in Taiwan announced to cut its list prices for rebar and scrap by NT$200/ton respectively for this week.
After the announcement, the company's latest prices of rebar are at NT$18,000/ton and that of scrap is at NT$10,600~NT$11,300/ton.
However, the firm remained the prices for section steel unchanged at NT$20,200~NT$20,400/ton.
It's learned that international scrap prices have decreased these days.
Affected by this, the scrap prices in the Taiwanese market have already decreased by NTT$400/ton over the past two weeks.
