GlobalOptions has inked a definitive license and share option agreement to acquire all of the assets of Centricity, an Australia-based company specializing in conducting travel claims investigations worldwide.
Centricity International Investigations managing director Phil Peart said the partnership with GlobalOptions, which has delivered highest level of claims investigations, is a natural fit for the company.
''The integration of our existing international coverage and services with GlobalOptions' leadership, infrastructure and technology is already proving to be a powerful combination,'' Peart added.
GlobalOptions president and CEO Frank Pinder said Centricity will bring extensive expertise of analytical data on travel claims, fraud, trends and identifiable risks accumulated while working across every facet of international investigations to the partnership.
''This matrix of data is also being integrated into GlobalTrak offering our clients one of the most sophisticated global case management applications available in the travel insurance market today.'' Pinder added.
Headquartered in US, GlobalOptions is a provider of special investigative services to the global insurance carriers, self-insured corporations and third-party administrators.
