A few days ago, the remarkable China Burma natural gas pipeline project (Burmese section) was finished and ventilated, and the employees of Bayi Steel felt so proud of it when hearing this, because the products manufactured by Bayi Pipeline Steel are used for some of the pipelines of this project.
Upon knowing CNPC Baoji Steel Tube Co., Ltd. winning the China Burma Natural Gas Pipeline Project(Burmese Section), Bayi Steel, with which had good cooperation, actively recommended the pipeline steel products. At the end of last year, the 1000 tons X 70 grades pipeline steel of Bayi, was conducted a test in the subordinate company of Baoji Steel Tube---Baoshishun(Qinhuang Island) Co., Ltd, and was then popularized. The successful cooperation has built the foundation for Bayi Steel to get the order.
After getting the order, Bayi Steel attached great importance to the production of this pipeline steel. The manufacturing management department made overall arrangement for the process and scheme of trail-manufacture, dispatched specialists to follow the smelting &rolling and performance detection, etc., and sent people to Baoji Steel Tube production site to track the whole process of trail-manufacture, ensuring the products sent to China Burma natural gas pipeline project is qualified.
The successful application of Bayi Steel Pipeline to the China Burma natural gas pipeline project is helpful for Bayi Steel to exploit more advanced pipeline steel and expand the market of petroleum and gas pipeline project.
