Apple is rumored to be ready to release its next-generation iPad and iPad mini in October, as related channel retailers have been actively managing their iPad inventories recently, which some market watchers speculate is for welcoming the new tablet products and in preparation of the related inventory digestion. No company has confirmed the rumor.
The channel retailers are also rumored to be having a meeting with Apple in the near future to discuss the distribution of new products, marketing and promotion activities, as well as inventory digestion of previous models.
Some channel retailers in Taiwan pointed out that Apple's release of the new iPhones has increased consumer inquiries of products at retail stores and boosted accessory sales.
Currently, most retailers in Taiwan are still waiting for Apple's notification about the release of new iPhones in Taiwan.
