Turkey's Exports of Rebar Fell by 14.3% From a Month Ago

Turkey’s exports of rebar including round bars totaled 611,817 tons in November, falling by 14.3% from a month ago while increasing by 12% year on year, according to statistics released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). In November, the country’s export revenues generated by rebar amounted to US$360 million, decreasing by 16.1% from a month ago and falling by 1.6% year on year. In the first 11 months of 2012, Turkey’s exports of rebar amounted to 7.57 million tons, jumping by 23.67% year on year. In the given period of time, the country’s export revenues generated by rebar reached US$4.76 billion, rising by 17.3% in comparison of the figures in the same period of the previous year.
