Feng Hsin, one of the major electric furnace mills and steel long products makers in Taiwan has announced to hike its rebar and scrap purchasing price for this week. Stimulated by the rise in international scrap price, Feng Hsin decided to increase the rebar and scrap purchasing price by NT$200/ton respectively. However, the company remained the section steel prices unchanged for this week. After the announcement, its rebar base prices are at NT$18,000/ton, its scrap purchasing prices are at NT$10,900~NT$11,800/ton and its price for steel sections are at NT$19,900~NT$20,100/ton.
