Feng Hsin, one of the major steel long product manufacturers in Taiwan announced to leave its rebar prices to continue staying flat at NT$18,000/ton for this week.
The company also announced to keep its base price for scrap collection and steel sections unchanged for this week. The company's new scrap collection price will be remained at NT$10,500/ton and steel sections price will be NT$20,200/ton.
Currently, the global scrap prices including container scrap, bulk scrap from the U.S. and the H2 scrap from Japan have dropped slightly.
Taiwan's local buyers are showing no interest in buying large quantity for rebar stocks, which is the main reason that Feng Hsin decided to keep its price flat again in this week.
