The Event Was Supported by Major Suppliers and Dealer Groups

The office products industry's inaugural Christmas lunch held last Friday (16 November) was a resounding success with $22,500 raised for the Australian Office Products Charitable Fund.

A capacity crowd of 200 guests attended the event, held at Doltone House at Darling Harbour Wharf on Sydney Harbour.

The event was supported by major suppliers and dealer groups, many of which donated raffle and auction prizes. Major sponsors were Pelikan Artline and Jasco while the guest speaker was round-the-world yachtsman Tony Mowbray.

Charitable fund spokesperson Siobhan Tagell (general manager of ASA-Australia) said it was "highly-likely" the event would become an annual fixture on the office products industry's calendar.

The Charitable Fund's next event will be the annual Charity Fun Golf  Day, to be held at Macquarie Links on 15 March next year.
