Turkey’s exports of hot rolled coils (HRC) totaled 435,672 tons in the first quarter of this year, almost triple compared to the figures in the same period of a year ago and soaring by 53.4% quarter on quarter, according to data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
In the first quarter of this year, the country’s exports of hot rolled coils (HRC) made to Italy totaled 196,260 tons, almost quintupled year on year; those to Portugal were at 47,402tons, jumping from 2,599 tons in the same period of a year ago.
In March alone, Turkey’s HRC exports amounted to 140,210 tons, decreasing by 22.7% from a month ago.
