According to observation of the Indian data card market by CMR, ZTE Corporation (SEHK: 0763 and SZSE: 000063) took a 30.2% market share in the nation in the second quarter of 2013, leading ahead of 29.9% of Huawei Technologies and 14.2% of Micromax.
Huawei was the leader in GSM data card market, taking 24.9% of the local market, followed by Micromax with 20.7%. The figure for ZTE was 18.9%. In CDMA data card market, ZTE and Huawei Technologies respectively snatched 54% and 40.7% market shares.
ZTE, Huawei Technologies and Micromax totally took up 74% of the data card shipment in India in the reporting period.
