Russian pipe producing company United Metallurgical Company has stated that in November of the current year its foundry rolling complex produced 85,000 tonnes of hot rolled flat steel most consisting of hot rolled coil but also including 14,000 tonnes of steel sheets and 27,000 tonnes of steel strips. In November this year, the foundry rolling complex of OMK shipped a total of 74,000 tonnes of steel products.
In the January to November period of the current year, the OMK complex produced more than 1 million tonnes of hot rolled flat steel, up 6% compared to the same period last year, mostly including HRC but also including 201,000 tonnes of steel sheets and 224,000 tonnes of steel strips. In the given period, the complex shipped 1.02 million tonnes of hot rolled coil, sheet and strip up 7% YoY.
