Mexico's Apparent Consumption of Steel Long Products in March Soars by 46% M-O-M

According to the statistics released by Mexico's steel distributors group, Conadiac, the country's apparent consumption of steel long products totaled 1.76 million tons in March, soaring by 46% from 1.2 million tons in a month ago. In March, the country's rebar consumption totaled 733,527 tons, jumping from 516,345 tons in February. Meanwhile, rebar exports totaled 171,752 tons, surging from 94,471 tons in February. Rebar output also jumped to 904,579 tons in March from 610,218 tons in the previous month.
