FAW-GM Holds a Rolling-out Ceremony for High-Level Light Truck Jiefang F330 in Beijing.

FAW-GM holds a rolling-out ceremony for high-level light truck Jiefang F330 in Beijing. Vice president of FAW-GM Light Duty Commercial Vehicle Jiang Jun says F330 Subao is a high-level light truck jointly created by FAW and GM by integrating the global intelligent resources and deepening cooperation with Deutz and DENSO. Marketing director Liu Zhenguo says F330 is targeted at "fine and highly effective transportation" and meets for more demands from high-level logistics. At the activity spot, official price is also released: 1.5T standard F330 is 99,900 yuan; 1.5T luxurious one 103,300 yuan; 2T standard one 105,900 yuan, 2T luxurious one 109,100 yuan; 3T standard one 118,900 yuan and 3T luxurious one 122,100 yuan.

Rolling-out ceremony

At the ceremony, Mr. Gao Tieshi, a technician from FAW Technology Department, introduces F330's leading core technologies and allocation of Duetz 4DD3.0 diesel engine with maximum power reaching 150hp. The large power saves more fuel. Deutz 4DD series engine has the strongest power, lightest weight, smallest size compared to its same kind. It complies with China 4 emission standard and is able to upgrade to Euro 5 and 6.

F330 makes big breakthroughs in riding comfort, economy and environmental protection. The cab has rather wide space thanks to the 2000mm wide raised back and hydraulic mount. Damping chair and cruise control help reduce driving fatigue. Compared to the same vehicles of its kind, F330 has less noise, lighter vibration, and lower control. The fuel consumption is 3% less than other vehicles of its same kind. The maximum speed reaches 120 km/h. It saves around 6-8% oil than its same kind in rapid motion.

Wu Yong, general manager of Shanxi Qingjinlong Automotive Trading Co., Ltd. tells our correspondent that "I'm quite confident in this F330 because it combines advantages of FAW—Chinese commercial vehicle leader and GM—international leading auto manufacturer." Regarding the future of F330, Mr. Li from Zibo, Shandong province, expresses his opinion that high-level light truck will be an inevitable trend as the state puts more attention on energy saving and emission reduction and environment protection and more users are young people.

At the ceremony, FAW-GM also showcases refrigerated truck, wrecker, hydraulic tail-board cargo truck, common cargo truck and platform lorry.
