According to statistics released by the Chinese customs, China exported 118,103 tons of stainless hot rolled (HR) and cold rolled (CR) flat products in October, falling by 12.6% from a month ago while rising by 18.1% year on year.
In the first ten months of this year, the country's exports of stainless HR and CR flat products amounted to 1.21 million tons, decreasing by 17% year on year.
For the prospect, it's forecasted that China's exports might slide further in November and December since the steelmakers are under less pressure to sell.
