Feng Hsin, one of the major steel long product makers in Taiwan released its list prices for rebar, section steel and scraps unchanged for this week.
After the announcement, its list prices for rebar are at NT$17,300/ton; those for section steel are at NT$19,300~NT$19,500/ton and those for scraps are at NT$10,700~NT$11,400/ton.
It’s learned that the demand for rebar has remained week even though rebar prices have fallen for consecutive two weeks by a total of NT$600/ton.
Thus, Feng Hsin decided to remain its rebar prices unchanged for this week to stimulate demand.
