Talenti Gelato & Sorbetto is voluntarily recalling its German Chocolate Cake Gelato pints as they may contain almonds, which are not mentioned on the labeling.
The products subject to recall include Talenti German Chocolate Cake Gelato pints, featuring UPC code 1 8685200063 1 and a 'BEST BY DATE' of 11/04/2014 M1, 11/24/2014 M1, and 11/24/2014 M2.
Consumers intolerant to almonds are at a risk of serious or life-threatening reaction if they consume this product.
The company has to date received no reports of illnesses associated with consumption of this product. No other Talenti Gelato branded products are affected.
Customers who have purchased the product and have an allergy to almonds are advised not to consume and discard it.
