Cooper Corporation has successfully exported its first batch of "Cooper ECOPACK" diesel generators to Ukraine in Eastern Europe, under a long-term contract to supply Cooper gensets in various power ratings from 15 KVA to 180 KVA. These gensets are being manufactured at the company's Satara plant in Maharashtra.
Ukraine is a country with very challenging environment and extremely harsh climate. Years of in-house research and the technical collaboration with Ricardo, UK, have culminated in the launch of the Cooper ECOPACK genset.
These Low fuel consumption generators are lighter in weight, smaller in size and meets with the European Emission norms, an official release by Cooper noted.
Cooper Corporation Pvt Ltd is amongst the few Indian companies to foray into the Ukrainian market. The order for gensets was won against global competition, the release noted. To meet European requirements, special fitments were incorporated in the Cooper gensets. One of them included a kit to enable starting of the genset in very low temperatures.
