According to data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), the country's exports of hot rolled coils (HRC) totaled 65,803 tons in October, slumping by 34% year on year.
In October, Italy was the largest importer of the Turkish HRC with 19,687 tons; Portugal was the second largest one with 18,245 tons and Romania was the third largest one with 5,006 tons.
Meanwhile, the country's exports of cold rolled coils totaled 4,157 tons, decreasing by 38%; those of coated flat steel products were at 31,259 tons, falling by 30%, both compared to the figures in the same month of 2012.
