It’s reported that Tokyo Steel announced to raise prices for all its steel products by 2,000~3,000/ton for November, supported by strong demand and tighter market condition. The company decided to hike its prices for steel long products by 3,000/ton and increase prices for steel flat products by 2,000/ton. After the adjustment, the prices for SS400 senior-sized H beams are at 79,000/ton; those for SPHC hot rolled coils with thickness of 1.7mm-22mm are at RMB66,000/ton. Meanwhile, Tokyo Steel planned to produce 180,000 tons of finished steel products in November, around 5,000 tons less than the output in October.
