Wuhan Iron and Steel announced its cold rolling plant has produced color-coated sheets of 3,708 tons in the recent three months, with a finished product rate of 95.8% and supplementing the group's blank in the sector.
Color-coated plates can be directly applied to products without re-coating on the surface by customers and need to be produced with extremely high-precision equipment and refiner furnace temperature and film thickness control.
The plant has successfully completed the high-grade color-coated sheets after several tests this year and realized mass supply to some branded appliance and elevator companies.
