Long Steel Products Market
Construction steel: Market price dropped CNY 10-50 per tonne in East China, North China, South Central and West China. More sharply, Nanjing market was a decline of CNY 20-80 per tonne. Average price of 20mm HRB400 rebar and HPB235 wire rod in China was CNY3863 per tonne and CNY3713 per tonne, down CNY 13 and 9 yuan per tonne from the previous trading day.
Section steel: Section steel price generally maintained stable in China except a drop of CNY 10-50 per tonne in Shanghai, Nanchang and Guiyang market. Average price of 5# Angle maintained CNY 3795 per tonne, down CNY 4 per tonne from previous trading day.
Flat Steel Products Market
Medium plate: The medium plate markets dropped down amid stability in China on November 20, 2012. The price in Lecong, Shanghai, Naning, Beijing, Tianjin, Harbin, Chongqing and Xi’an lost CNY 10-40 per tonne. The average price of 20mm medium plate in China was CNY3783 per tonne, down 7 yuan from previous trading day.
HR/CR: HR steel price dropped CNY 10-50 per tonne North and West China while East China and South Central seemed comparatively stable. CR steel price are most stable except Wuxi and Wuhan that dropped CNY 10-20 per tonne. Average price of 5.75mm HR plate/coil and 1.0mm CR plate/coil in China closed at CNY3911 per tonne and CNY4610 per tonne, down CNY 8 per tonne and CNY 1 per tonne from the previous trading day.
Special Steel Market
Special steel price is generally unchanged on Nov.21, 2012 except Wuxi market that rose CNY 20-30 per tonne.
Stainless Steel Market
Stainless steel market in China saw a stable performance on November 21, 2012. But 300 series stainless steel went up CNY 100 per tonne in Foshan market.
