It’s reported that, Taiwanese China Steel Corp. (CSC) is going to have the new price announcement for next January and February on November 29th. CSC planned to hike its new prices since the Taiwanese coating steel mills have increased their price successfully for the US buyers and it’s been seen better economic situation in the European market in the first quarter of next year. However, the Taiwanese domestic downstream buyers said the current steel price in the Chinese market is going down. Besides, China's new released crude steel production is going up. Therefore, there have no reasons to support CSC’s price rise. Overall, CSC said the company has not yet had the final decision, but their new price may only have limited possibility to drop.
