The Highways Electrical Association (HEA) have joined forces with the Lighting Association Laboratories to provide a cost effective testing and accreditation service for a range of lighting products for HEA members.
HEA members will have access to the LA Labs services which, it is anticipated, will save members time and money, compared to the alternatives currently available. Products that are awarded the certificate and test report from LA Labs will have a competitive advantage in the market place both at home and abroad, as they will carry the enhanced credibility of LA Laboratories. The service covers a range of tests and is aimed in this agreement at highway electrical products.
Gareth Pritchard, HEA Chief Executive, stated: "We are delighted to secure this memorandum of understanding with LA Laboratories for our members. By providing more options for our members' businesses, we trust this is a benefit they will value and allow our members to gain some cost and efficiency savings to enable them to concentrate on their core business."
