Ajinomoto aims to generate JPY190bn ($1.78bn) in worldwide sales in the frozen food business for fiscal 2016.
According to the company, the frozen food market in North America is valued at approximately $40bn and growing steadily, while the growth of Asian/Ethnic and differentiated categories of healthy/high quality foods within the market has been particularly robust in recent years.
