According to statistics, Japan’s exports of heavy plates totaled 247,452 tons in last November, falling by 11% from a month ago and decreasing by 20% year on year.
In last November, the country’s export prices of heavy plates averaged at US$728.6/ton FOB, down by 0.6% month on month and falling by 21% year on year.
Meanwhile, Korea was the largest importer of the Japanese heavy plates with 115,990 tons, down by 9.7%; China was the second largest one with 50,260 tons, decreasing by 14.9%, both compared to those in a month ago.
