Steel Pipe Makers Planned to Raise The API Pipe Export Prices for Next Jan and Feb

It's reported that the steel pipe makers planned to raise the API pipe export prices by US$10~US$20/ton for next January and February in response to China Steel Corp. (CSC) for the steel pipe making materials.

CSC hiked the list prices for hot rolled (HR) steel by NT$300/ton for next January and February.

Dealers indicated that the steel prices have showed the signal to bottom out currently and it might rise from the first quarter of next year.

Meanwhile, the US distributors expected that the sales volumes of API pipes would rise in the first quarter of next year, driven by gradually rising prices.
