Reportedly, Japanese steelmaker JFE Steel announced that it supplies 1,900 tons casing pipet to the US Freeport-McMoRan Oil & Gas with Japan Marubeni-Itochu steel inc. The project needs high anticorrosive seamless pipe with max thickness of 34.29mm and outside diameter of 7-9". JFE Steel finally researched and developed pipes with thickness more than 13mm after making their great efforts to meet the high requirement.
