The Europe activities of Norbord have developed slightly downhill again in the second quarter of 2012. Sales revenues were 6.8% lower than a year earlier at $109m and EBITDA deteriorated to $9m in the same period. Norbord had generated sales revenue of $118m in Europe in the first quarter of 2012 and EBITDA of $11m. Cumulated over the first half-year, Norbord's sales in Europe fell to $227m and EBITDA to $20m.
