The Prices of Carbon Steel Pipes Have Already Decreased NT$600/Ton in May

Affected by the price dip of steel flat products in the Taiwanese steel market, the prices of carbon steel pipes have already decreased NT$600/ton in May.

It’s known that the Taiwanese steel pipe mills have offered some promotions to stimulate the demand, making steel pipe prices remain at low price level in the past two weeks.

The steel pipe makers said that it’d been forecasted that demand for steel pipes would remain weak in May. Thus, they expected the promotions could help the boost demand.
