Japan’s exports of cold rolled (CR) steel sheets and coils totaled 311,640 tons in March, increasing by 13.7% from February and rising by 0.5% year on year, according to data released by Japan’s Ministry of Finance.
In the first quarter of this year, the country’s exports of CR steel sheets and coils amounted to 803,503 ton, down by 0.6% year on year.
In the given period of time, the exports made to China totaled 232,288 tons, falling by 12.7%; those to Thailand were at 117,706 tons, increasing by 27.4%, both compared to the figures in the same period of a year ago.
