Canada-based food packaging firm CKF has acquired Earthcycle Packaging, a provider of renewable and recyclable packaging products.
According to CKF, the acquisition will enable the company to enter into new markets with an expanded portfolio of packaging products.
CKF president Ian Anderson said with the acquisition of Earthcycle, the company aims to provide a new line of products to its existing as well as new customers and markets.
"The addition of the Earthcycle brand and the skills and expertise of Shannon Boase enhances CKF's foundation for growth in the ever expanding sustainable packaging market," Anderson added.
The Earthcycle brand will continue to work with the agriculture and produce industries.
