Trade Resources Market View Japanese Steelmakers Are Going to Start Price Negotiation

Japanese Steelmakers Are Going to Start Price Negotiation

The Japanese steelmakers are going to start price negotiation for electric galvanized steel sheets with Asian buyers for July next week.

It’s said that the Japanese steelmakers planned to remain export prices for electric galvanized steel sheets unchanged for July due to dropped steel prices in international market.

In fact, the Japanese steel mills previously planned to raise export prices for electric galvanized steel sheets for Jul since the country’s exports of electric galvanized steel sheets rose by 5% in the first two months of this year.

However, as the major steel mills in Asia such as Posco and Chins Steel Corp. (CSC) are predicted to leave prices of electric galvanized steel sheets unchanged for July, the Japanese mills may have no choices but to remain the prices flat for July.
