China Steel Corp.(CSC),the largest carbon steel producers in Taiwan announced to remain its list prices for electric furnace(EF)Al-killed wire rods unchanged at NT$21,200/ton for next January,in spite of high raw material prices.
Also,the company has kept its list prices for EF Al-killed wire rods unchanged for consecutive two months.
In fact,CSC's list prices for EF Al-killed wire rods had ever surged the highest level of NT$27,000/ton in the middle of last year;however,it started to fall since last September due to weak demand.
CSC stated that it expected that its unchanged prices for EF Al-killed wire rod could help the downstream screw makers to earn orders in export markets.
