The China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) has announced that the China Steel Price Index (CSPI) stood at 100.57 points at the end of September, down 1.54 points month on month, ending the month-on-month uptrend recorded in July and August. Furthermore, the CSPI has dropped below 100 points during the current month of October.
The CISA also stated that demand and output in the steel sector in China may both decline gradually in the coming period.
