According to data released by Taiwan Customs, Taiwan exported 6,831 tons of welded steel pipes in April, falling by 27% from March.
Among them, 2,049 tons were exported to Vietnam, 1,317 tons were to China and 1,070 tons were to Thailand.
Meanwhile, Taiwan imported 3,030 tons of welded steel pipes in April, rising by 10% month on month.
In April, the imports of welded steel pipes from Japan totaled 1,640 tons and those from Korean were at 1,104 tons.
