It's reported that the transaction prices of Al-killed wire rods have remained weak in the Taiwanese market after China Steel Corp. (CSC) announced to keep its list prices for steel wires and bars unchanged.
The Taiwanese single re-rolling mills announced to hike the December list prices for wire rods substantially by NT$500~NT$1,000/ton, making the list prices for Al-killed wire rods at NT$23,000/ton.
However, the current transaction prices of Al-killed wire rods are at around NT$21,500/ton in the Taiwanese market.
For the prospect, it's predicted that the Al-killed wire rod transaction prices may remain flat in the Taiwanese market in the near future.
