Dhler, a global producer, marketer and provider of ingredients for food and beverage industry, has acquired European flavors specialist Aromes, for an undisclosed amount.
Aromes provides flavors, beverage bases, emulsions, compounds, colors and other raw materials for confectionery, baked goods, ice cream, savoury products, and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
The company operates a production site in Warsaw, Grodzisk Mazowiecki, Poland and two sales locations in Ukraine and the Baltics.
Aromes is certified in accordance with the specifications of the ISO system.
The acquisition allows D?hler to further strengthen its presence in the Eastern European flavors market and expand its business activities in the food segment.
In addition, it will expand D?hler's flavor expertise for the food and beverage industry in Eastern Europe and adds local flavor specialties to its product portfolio.
Headquartered in Germany, D?hler has 23 production sites, 48 sales offices and application centers, as well as sales activities in more than 130 countries.
The company's product portfolio includes flavors, colors, specialty and performance ingredients, cereal ingredients, dairy ingredients, fruit & vegetable ingredients to ingredient systems.
