Ongoing Public Service Activity "Beauty of Made in China" ----Speech from CEO Jinhua Shen, Focus Technology Co., Ltd. Dear leaders, distinguished guests and friends, Good morning! First, please allow me on behalf of Made-in-China.com and the organizers of this annual contest of 2012 “Beauty of Made in China”, welcome all of you to today's news conference. As one of the organizers of this event, Made-in-China.com was natural given the mission of “promote Made in China, service for SMEs, promote global trade" since its birth. After 14 years operating, Made-in-China.com has become a trustworthy E-commerce platform which widely accepted by millions of SMEs and global buyers. Therefore, Made-in-China.com establishes close links with our SMEs. As we deeply aware the current status of SMEs, most of them need industrial restructuring, products upgrading, branding and technological innovation, but some of them lack of clear awareness, transformation and upgraded technology, also some lack of management experience. In this case, our "Focus Vision" magazine launched the first contest of “Beauty of Made in China” in last year, aiming to find quality products as models, helping change the public mind both at home and abroad that Chinese product is poor quality with cheap price. Also this event helped push the SMEs in China to take action on transformation, self-innovation, independent design, quality control and brand proposition. The event attracted hundreds of enterprises and we selected the top 30 award. Based on its popularity, four of them won the Year Award in the forefront of technology, environmental protection and industrial design. Although the event was not very big in last year, we still won reputable social repercussions. However, we also know that if only reply on us, it is difficult to promote "Beauty of Made in China" within a larger scope. Fortunately, we find our partner “Southern Weekend”. Southern Weekend is a media with serious credibility and influence, which first initiated “commitment to the conscience". To cooperate with Southern Weekend, we believe that “Beauty of Made in China” will be highly improved both in depth and breadth. Last year, Made-in-China.com made great effort on promoting the award-winning products via our home/abroad exhibitions, publications and E-commerce displaying; This year, we will invest more resources to help the award-winning enterprises display their products at home and abroad, the enterprises will represent the highest level of Made in China, which will help Chinese products win the respect position over the world. “Beauty of Made in China” will be sustained as a public service activity with a long-term vision. Within 5 to 10 years, we hope to mould “beauty of Made in China” as a top brand with great influence of industrial design and excellent quality without any utilitarian authoritative contest; we believe this event will ultimately lead Made in China to a sound development. In addition, we also invited SGS to make quality certification through classifying the products into different qualifications and types. Why doing like this? We hope the contest products should be with high industrial design level and more excellent quality, so as to reflect the highest level of Made in China. Another point I would like to particularly emphasize is that our contest must be open, just and fair. This is the starting point we organize the event with Southern Weekend and other organizations, which will also help us continue this event in good condition. We believe the era for Made in China transformation has already come. The achievement we already got, as well as SMEs vitality development, will let us be more confident and hopeful in the future.
